#1 Dads Announces First Australian Tour in Six Years Ahead of New Record
After six years away from Australian stages, #1 Dads is finally making a long-awaited return.
The solo project of Tom Iansek will head around the country this October and November for a 17-date tour in support of his upcoming album, Every Little Fire, due for release on 16 October. Expect songs spanning the #1 Dads catalogue, performed in an intimate solo setting.
Written during a period of his major life change, Every Little Fire marks Tom’s most personal record to date. Following his move to the UK, the album reflects on rebuilding, growing a family and embracing life’s imperfections, with every track self-produced and mixed in small home studios.
Known for his work with Big Scary and No Mono, Tom has also become one of Australia’s most sought-after producers, collaborating with artists like Maple Glider, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Paper Kites, Ruby Gill and Lisa Mitchell. As #1 Dads, he steps into a more personal space, crafting honest, intimate songs that have quietly earned the project a loyal following over the years.
