The Strokes are heading back to Australia

The Strokes are set to return to Australia, bringing their ‘Reality Awaits’ Tour‍ to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Following a massive year, the New York icons behind one of the most defining sounds of the 2000s are stepping into a new era with Reality Awaits, their seventh studio album and first new music since The New Abnormal. The Strokes has played to crowds in North America and Japan, with a string of sold-out dates across the UK, Europe and South America.

Presented by Secret Sounds and Live Nation, with support from Double J, the Australia run will see The Strokes joined by a line-up of special guests across three cities.

The inaugural Sydney Summertime at Centennial Park will bring together The Strokes, Courtney Barnett, Promiseland and Beck for a huge day of live music. Courtney Barnett and Promiseland will also join the band for the Melbourne and Brisbane shows.
