SPORTS are Finally Heading to Australia

Sports are stepping into a new era, and Australia is finally part of the story.

Fresh off the release of their long-awaited self-titled album, the Oklahoma dream-pop duo have announced their debut Australian headline tour this July, with shows locked in for Naarm/Melbourne, Gadigal/Sydney and Meanjin/Brisbane.

Sports marks a major milestone for the band. Written, recorded and fully self-produced in a studio they built from scratch in their Tulsa hometown, the 12-track record captures the duo at their most expansive and intentional. Moving between shimmering indie-pop, psychedelic textures and left-of-centre electronic moments, the album feels both bold and fluid — a reflection of a band completely in control of their sound.

Focus track ‘Jelly’ signals a sharper pop instinct, while previously released singles ‘Nice 2 Meet Myself (Bang Bang Bang)’, ‘Keep Falling In Love’, ‘If You Want Me’ and ‘Drama King’ have continued to build international momentum across streaming and radio.

Now, for the first time, Australian fans will get to experience it live.

Live Nation pre-sale kicks off Tuesday 24 February at 10am (local), with general on-sale from Wednesday 25 February at 11am (local).
