Sounds Australia at Music Matters Live 2025

Every year, Music Matters Live becomes a platform for rising global acts and this year, Sounds Australia has once again outdone themselves with an incredible line up that celebrated the very best of Australian talent.

The evening was a celebration of diversity in sound— from indie-pop to gritty rock energy and heartfelt sets. Each performance highlighted the voices currently shaping the Australia’s music scene.

Kicking off the night was Egoism—cool, effortless and completely in sync energy had the crowd locked in from the beginning. Teenage Joans blasted through with their 2000s pop-punk spirit, just two girls tearing it up and owning every second.

Adrian Dzvuke shifted gears with smooth, infectious rhythms, his set elevated by the accompaniment of a local dance troop —Wolfpack SG — who amplified the groove.

Yorke’s cinematic performance felt dreamy and weightless. Her set made us feel like we were floating just above the cloud, while Pania’s undeniable, magnetic stage presence made her laid-back set impossible to look away from.

Jack Gray charmed the audience with his “boy-next-door” appeal and ethereal vocal display— closing his set on a  high. Mr Eurovision himself, Go-jo exploded on stage with the wildest energy. Quirky, whimsical, and endlessly charismatic, he knew exactly how to work the audience, leaving everyone buzzing.

What truly stood out that night was the way every artist carried the spirit of home onto an international stage, all while engaging with newer audiences here in Singapore, and the response was electrifying.
