GrooveDriver Festival 2025: From Local Talent to Global Stars

by yasmin

Who says a festival needs a packed crowd to feel electric? Saturday at the Plaza Stage, GrooveDriver Festival 2025 proved otherwise.

Back for its second year, GrooveDriver Festival came back with a diversely electrifying line up with fresh local talents, spotlighting the debut of British pop sensation, Henry Moodie and Korea powerhouse producer and vocalist, GEMINI — proving that scale isn’t everything when the performances hit this hard.

The night warmed up with local talents like WHYLUCAS who eased the crowd in with tracks off his latest EP ‘Orange’ before surprising with a heartfelt cover of The Rose’s Back To Me. Regina Song followed, giving the Plaza Stage a taste of what’s next with a couple of unreleased tracks.

Then came the shift: GEMINI turned up the energy with tracks like UFO, Body on Me, and MIA before sending the crowd into a frenzy when he ditched his shirt mid-set. Yuju brought the emotion, performing songs like Spring Is Gone By Chance and No Matter. SHAUN kept the vibes soaring with an upbeat, happy set, dropping fan favourites — including his viral hit Way Back Home — that had the crowd swaying and singing along.

Henry Moodie closed out the night with tracks like Indigo, Drunk Text, and his latest single Sunday Morning. He gave the perfect bittersweet ending to a festival night that deserved a bigger audience, but never lacked heart.

From local talent to international stars, GrooveDriver Festival 2025 delivered an intimate night to remember — and we can’t wait to see how it grows next year.
